Angama Mara is strategically positioned on the edge of the Great Rift Valley at Oloololo Escarpment, offering sweeping views of the Masai Mara below. The escarpment is about 1000ft above the Masai Mara plans, making the lodge a perfect viewpoint for the Masai Mara. The lodge is not within the boundaries of the Masai Mara National Reserve but is situated just outside, allowing guests to enjoy both the spectacular scenery and the wildlife-rich plains of the reserve.

Guests can access Angama Mara by flying into the lodge’s private airfield or via road transfer from Nairobi or other nearby regions. The lodge’s location offers easy access to the Mara Triangle, a prime area for game viewing and witnessing the annual Great Migration.
