0400 Hours: Depart your hotel/residence in Nairobi.
Begin your journey early to make the most of your day. A packed breakfast will
be provided to enjoy en route. Alternatively, you will have your breakfast at a
hotel in Nairobi before our guide picks you up for the road trip to Masai Mara.
0900 Hours: Arrive at the Great Rift Valley
viewpoint. Take a short break to admire the stunning views of the escarpment
and the valley floor below. This is a great spot for some memorable photos.
1000 Hours: Continue your journey towards the Masai
Mara, arriving at the reserve entrance around mid-morning. Meet your local
guide here, who will lead you on your game viewing adventure.
1030 Hours: Begin your game drive in Masai Mara
National Reserve. Explore the expansive savannahs in search of the Big
Five—lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffaloes—as well as cheetahs,
zebras, and other wildlife.
1300 Hours: Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot
near the Mara River. Depending on the time of year, you may witness the
dramatic wildebeest migration and river crossings. Look out for hippos and
crocodiles basking along the riverbanks.
1400 Hours: Continue with the afternoon game drive.
