Yancey Brian O.

My name is Yancey from Mombasa, Kenya. I have a degree in Hospitality and Tourism from Kenyatta University. I have also a training on tour guiding, culinary studies, and marketing for hospitality & tourism. My passion in tourism developed when I finished my degree and started my internship with Kenya Wildlife Services. I enjoyed interacting with people from diverse cultures, showing them our culture, our wildlife, our amazing landscapes, and historical sites. For the last 2 years, I have visited 43 out of 47 counties in Kenya and enjoyed fun moments with tourists. My favorite destination in Kenya is Masai Mara because I love wildlife and the amazing experience is to see the Big 5 in their natural habitat.

My passion for tourism and hospitality began when I got my first visitors in my AirBnB in 2017. I wanted to give my Italian guests unforgettable experience and decided to become their local tour guide at Malindi. We experienced the Malindi Marine Park, Watamu park, Mida Creek, and the Ndoro Sculpture Gardens, Malindi. I loved learning new cultures while exploring our amazing beaches, national parks and reserves, and landscapes. Since then, I have traveled to different tourist destinations in Kenya and enjoyed working with local and international tourists. I love taking photos and Amboseli National Park is my number one destination in Kenya because I get to see the big 5 and take photos against the amazing Kilimanjaro Mountain.
