Itinerary
This morning, your local guide will pick you up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi. You will drive through the scenic viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley en route to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This vast reserve is an extension of the Serengeti plains and is famous for its spectacular wildebeest migration and its resident Big Five. Arrive at your lodge or camp for lunch, then relax before departing for an afternoon game drive. The Masai Mara is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including Masai giraffes, buffalos, elands, and thousands of plains game. (Meals: Lunch & Dinner, Drinking water)

This full day will be dedicated to game viewing in the Masai Mara, exploring its amazingly high concentration of wild animals. On the plains, you will encounter enormous herds of grazing animals, plus the elusive cheetahs and leopards often found resting in acacia boughs. You will also have an optional opportunity to visit a local Maasai village to witness their traditional singing and dancing, and gain a glimpse into their daily lives and social structure (extra cost, arranged locally).
