Itinerary

Your local guide will pick you up from your hotel or the airport in either Nairobi or Mombasa/Diani after breakfast. Drive via the respective highway towards Tsavo East National Park (travel time varies based on pick-up). Enter the park, often through Bachuma gate if from the coast. The park is noted for its vast elephant herds and diverse game. A game drive commences immediately upon entry, making the most of the morning hours. Proceed to your lodge for lunch. After lunch, relax during the hotter part of the day before an afternoon game drive from approximately 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM. (Meals: Lunch & Dinner, Drinking water)

After an early breakfast, depart for Tsavo West National Park, enjoying a game drive en route as you transition between the parks. Arrive at your lodge in Tsavo West in time for lunch. After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive in Tsavo West. This section of the park offers varied landscapes and opportunities to see elephants, buffalos, ostriches, gazelles, and potentially big cats. You may also visit the rhino sanctuary (park conditions and time permitting). (Meals: All meals included, Drinking water)

Accommodation: Lake Jipe Eco Camp or similar mid-range lodge.

Embark on an early morning game drive to watch for predators on their morning hunt. After the game drive, return to the lodge for a full breakfast. After breakfast, check out and depart for your original pick-up city (Mombasa or Nairobi). En route, you may visit Mzima Springs in Tsavo West, where an underwater viewing platform allows observation of crocodiles, hippos, and fish. Lunch will be at Voi town or along the way. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport in the late afternoon. (Meals: Breakfast & Lunch, Drinks not included)
